The College of Liberal Arts participates in the Adobe Acrobat site license. This software comes installed on all college owned faculty, staff, and lab machines.

MATLAB is available through the College as a site license for use in course work or academic research by faculty, staff, and students. This license also includes MATLab Online, which allows you to use a cloud version of the software from anywhere you have an internet connection. MATLab Online is available in all CLA labs by logging into the website below. There are over 50 toolboxes available. <provide link to CSU MATLab products.pdf>.

Access instructions:

1. Go to Colorado State University’s MATLAB Portal to download the software.
2. Click “Get Started Now” in the Download MATLAB box. 
3. You will be asked to create a MathWorks Account.  Once you do that, you will be associated to our MATLAB license and will be able to:
   • Download and activate software on your University owned and personal computer
   • Start using MATLAB Online from a web browser

If you have trouble installing MATLAB, go to the Colorado State University’s MATLAB Portal and click “Installation help” to get help.

Commercial use of MathWorks products is not covered by our site license, so if you are using a commercial license, please continue to do so.

CSU uses Office 365 as the default office productivity suite. The software is available as a desktop installed software package and as the full suite of Office 365 online applications. The online applications are available on demand from any device that has an internet connection.

Desktop applications included: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Skype for Business, OneDrive for Business

Online applications included: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Outlook, Forms, OneDrive. For the full listing of online apps please log into portal.office.com.

Personal Licenses: Through CSU’s Office 365 subscription students, staff, and faculty may be entitled to install up to 5 copies of the latest version of Office onto your personal devices, including iOS and Android devices. CSU and Institutional Research provides a site license to faculty and staff to use the survey tool Qualtrics. To get started log in with your CSU username at https://colostate.qualtrics.com.
