Hello and welcome! This blog is devoted to the College of Liberal Arts’ faculty and instructors who are moving their courses from RamCT to Canvas.

Every week I will answer your questions and/or post information about the transition and Canvas. Canvas is a great tool. I call it a new generation learning management system because I have worked with Blackboard, Sakai, and Moodle, and while Canvas has all of the standard LMS features, it is a completely different tool. In general, it is a more open, social tool, and while it is younger – and therefore not as robust as some of the more mature learning management systems, it also better reflects what we can do online today. It’s fresh. More on all of that soon.
